July 14	lincoln center midsummer night swing take advantage of a fun nyc summer event and join your dg sisters at one of lincoln center’s midsummer nights. check out the hour group dance lesson and stay to enjoy the live jazz and swing music from cat Russell and the hound swing band. come one, come all. feel free to invite whoever, the more the merrier! 6:30 pm, group dance lesson 7:30 – 10:00 pm, live music damrosch park, 62nd street (btwn. columbus and amsterdam) purchase tickets online in advance and confirm attendance to amber or connie. July 20	dinner club @ bar baresco bbar baresco is a chelsea wine bar with the mission of promoting southern italian wines. a high-tech cruvinet (a wine preservation system) behind the bar keeps uncorked bottles fresh, allowing drinkers an opportunity to explore higher-end wines, for less. the largish pan-italian–food menu accompanies the wine. space is limited, so rsvp now to meredith 7:00pm 191 7th avenue (btwn. 21st & 22nd st.)
July 21	“girls just wanna have fun”… especially in new york city! join your fellow dgs for: glam-queen cyndi lauper's concert tickets are in the balcony (though the theater appears small). get ready to enjoy a girl's night and musical hits like 7:30, doors open 8:00 pm, show starts town hall, 123 west 43rd street (btwn. 6th & 7th ave.) $40 each (fees are all inclusive) email bridgett to sign up
