What a success! The fifth annual auction was held on Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at Providence.
Guests were treated to a fun-filled evening and were able to bid in the silent and live auctions.
House music and an informational slide show on vision-related topics served as a perfect
backdrop. Dr. Teresa Rostowski, a well-known optometrist, was on hand to talk to guests
about vision-related illnesses and distribute educational handouts. Having a licensed optometrist
attend the event was enlightening, not to mention a great way to get across our philanthropic
message in a social setting!
All eyes were on Cheryl Oleander, a DG alumna who served as auctioneer. Overall the event
brought in $6,500.
Thanks to so many who made our efforts worthwhile as well as made it possible for us to
donate so generously to Foundation. In addition, an outstanding Columbia University Delta
Gamma collegian will receive a scholarship. Congratulations to Jennifer Dunson and all those
who made this event a success!
