| Single's Night 2005 |
The Social Event of the Season for the DGs was a success... although we had to battle with wind, rain
and monsoon-like conditions we still managed to have an amazing turnout. Beside all the fun and great
conversations, the DGs came through again. They brought more men than women, which is a
difficult thing to do in this city! I believe that most people had a really good time and hopefully met
someone new.
At last years event there was a love connection, and the couple is about to get engaged. Lets hope that
a few more love connections were made this time, and even if a marriage proposal doesn't result,
maybe a new friend or two. A part from having a good time, we did raise money for Delta Gammas
who have battled hard times with Katrina. The proceeds from the night will be calculated and donated
shortly.
Thanks again for all of you who showed up and supported this cause and brought your friends. It is
always great to meet new women who have a great common bond and love to have a good time.
