president
As the alumnae group’s leader and representative within the Fraternity and the community, the
president must be knowledgeable about the Fraternity, Foundation, alumnae group and alumnae
Panhellenic. She sets the example for alumnae and collegians in her area through her knowledge,
commitment and dedication.
vp: programming
With the assistance of a committee, the vice-president: programming provides balanced
programming that is both educational and enjoyable for alumnae in all life stages.
vp: Foundation
Following the guidelines of the Delta Gamma Foundation, the vice-president: Foundation
coordinates the philanthropic activities of the alumnae group. She maintains awareness of
Service for Sight, Foundation awareness, fundraising and Well Aware.
vp: membership
Successful membership recruitment is essential for the growth and development of the alumnae
group. Membership is not only measured by participation, but also by dues-paid members.
The vice-president: membership works hand-in-hand with the vice-president: finance and the
Alumnae Assistant Administrator (AAA) to help ensure members do not get overlooked or
forgotten and that financial support for the group can continue and grow.
vp: communications
The vice-president: communications is the recording officer of the chapter and the custodian of
the alumnae group’s records. These records provide a history of the alumnae group. She is also
responsible for maintaining good communications through written correspondence. In some
groups, one officer assumes these responsibilities; in others, they are divided between two
officers.
vp: finance
Ensuring a solid financial base for the alumnae group is the responsibility of the vice-president:
finance.
vp: collumnae
The vp: collumnae plans and coordinates events involving local collegians, whether it be a local
collegiate chapter or collegians who attend universities elsewhere but return to their hometown
